Terms of Service

Effective 29 September 2026 · Applies to the Coherence service at coherenceframework.com, however you access it

These terms are the agreement between you and Coherence for your use of the Coherence service — the self-serve platform, the Coherence Classification, Orientation Sessions, and programmes such as the 90-Day Coherence Intensive. Please read them. By creating an account, ordering a Classification, or enrolling in a programme, you accept them.

1. The agreement

Coherence is operated by Crossroads Ventures Desenvolvimento Organizacional e de Liderança Ltda, trading as Crossroads Ventures LTDA (CNPJ 41.816.436/0001-30), R. Dr. Florêncio Ygartua, 60 / 501 - Moinhos de Vento, Porto Alegre - RS, 90430-010, Brazil ("Coherence", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your use of the Coherence service as a whole — however you access it: the self-serve platform, a Coherence Classification, an Orientation Session, or a programme such as the 90-Day Coherence Intensive. By creating an account, placing an order, or enrolling in a programme, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Coherence. By using the service you confirm that you are.

3. What the service is

Coherence is the leadership-development service we provide under the copyrighted Coherence Framework (Lei nº 9.610/98). The platform — the self-serve digital app that runs the structured "Mirror" sessions and your ongoing journal, through automated, conversational guidance — is one way we deliver Coherence, not the whole of it. Coherence also includes services delivered by a human practitioner: the Coherence Classification (a structural assessment report), 1:1 Orientation Sessions, and cohort programmes such as the 90-Day Coherence Intensive (see below), which bundle several of these together. Which of these components you have depends on what you ordered or enrolled in, as confirmed to you at checkout or in your order confirmation. Wherever this document refers to "the program," "the app," or automated features specifically, it means the platform component; other sections apply to Coherence as a whole regardless of how you access it. Coherence is designed to help you reflect on how you lead and operate, name recurring patterns, and track them over time. It is a program for self-directed reflection and personal development, not a substitute for professional services.

4. Not professional advice

Coherence provides information, education, and structured reflection. It does not provide business, financial, legal, medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and it does not create a professional, clinical, or fiduciary relationship. It is not a crisis or emergency service. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. If you need professional advice or care, consult a qualified professional; if you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis line.

We make no guarantee of any particular result, outcome, or improvement from using the service.

Safety and crisis support

Coherence is not a crisis service, and sessions are not watched in real time. Nobody at Coherence is alerted about what you say in a session, and the Mirror cannot contact anyone on your behalf.

If something you say suggests you may be at risk of harming yourself or someone else, the Mirror will ask you directly and set the session's usual work aside, and you will be asked whether you would like a list of support services for your region. The list is shown only if you say yes, and each service is described there in its own words. It never advises on medication and never diagnoses a condition; it will refer you to your prescriber, a pharmacist or a doctor.

If a session includes a moment like this, a brief note that it happened is kept in your own encrypted session record, so that your next session can begin by checking in with you. No separate list of such moments is kept.

5. Your account and recovery code

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and your one-time recovery code secure, and for activity under your account. Your account is for your personal use and may not be shared or transferred.

6. Free trial, subscription, and billing

New accounts may include a free trial (currently 7 days), with no card required to start. To continue after the trial, you subscribe to a paid plan. Billing is handled by our third-party payment processor. Unless you cancel, paid subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged at the start of each period. We will make the price and billing period clear at checkout. Taxes may apply.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from within the program or by contacting us. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period, and it will not renew after that. We do not provide refunds for the current or past billing periods except where required by applicable law. Your free trial can be cancelled at any time before it converts, at no charge.

8. The 90-Day Coherence Intensive

The 90-Day Coherence Intensive (the "Intensive") is a fixed-term, cohort-based programme offered alongside the self-serve platform described above. Unless your order confirmation says otherwise, it includes:

• the Coherence Classification — a written structural report on how you lead;
• a 1:1 Orientation Session with a Coherence practitioner, to present the Classification findings and set your 90-day focus;
• six 1:1 sessions with a Coherence practitioner, scheduled fortnightly across the 90-day programme period; and
• full access to the platform — the Mirror sessions and journal — for the duration of the programme.

The exact schedule, named practitioner, and price for your cohort are the ones confirmed to you before you pay, at checkout or in a written order confirmation, and govern over any earlier description of the programme you may have seen (including any description on our marketing pages).

Payment

You may pay for the Intensive in a single payment, or under an instalment plan of scheduled payments disclosed to you before you pay; an instalment plan may total more than paying in full. If a scheduled instalment is not received by its due date, we may pause your access to the platform and to scheduled sessions until it is paid. If it remains unpaid more than 7 days after the due date, we may end your participation in the programme; amounts already paid are treated as set out below.

Cancellation and refunds

The Classification report carries its own guarantee, stated on its order page at the time of your purchase — currently: the report and your Orientation findings are yours to keep either way, and its fee is refunded if you tell us the report did not name anything true about you.

Sessions with a practitioner

Intensive sessions are delivered live, by video or voice call, by Cameron Cross or another practitioner working under the Coherence Framework, scheduled through our designated booking provider. What you and your practitioner discuss in these live sessions is confidential to both of you, subject to the safety exception described in Safety and crisis support above and to any disclosure required by law. We do not record the audio or video of these sessions; your practitioner may keep working notes from them as part of your account record to support your programme, handled under our Privacy Policy.

Individual order forms

If you sign a separate order form, proposal, or service agreement for your specific cohort — for example, confirming your dates, price, and practitioner — that document supplements these Terms and confirms those specifics. It does not replace or lower the protections in these Terms, including this section and our Governing law, unless it is a written agreement signed by both parties that expressly says so.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service unlawfully or to harm others;
• share, resell, or provide access to your account to anyone else;
• attempt to breach security, access other participants' data, or disrupt the program;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the program or the Coherence Framework except as permitted by law;
• misrepresent the service or use it to build a competing product.

10. Intellectual property

The Coherence program, the Coherence Framework, and all related methodology, instructional materials, content, classifications, and evaluation tools are our proprietary intellectual property, protected under Copyright Law (Lei nº 9.610/98 in Brazil) and applicable law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, temporary, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the copyrighted framework and its instructional materials for your own reflection and personal development while your account is in good standing. This is a right to access copyrighted educational materials — not a licence to any software or source code. No other rights are granted. You may not create derivative works from, or publicly reproduce, our proprietary materials without our written permission.

11. Your content

You own the content you create in your journal. To operate the program, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely as needed to deliver the guidance to you — including processing it through the automated-guidance and infrastructure providers described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train any external systems, and we do not sell it. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for content already processed transiently or retained in backups for the limited period described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Automated guidance content

Responses in the program are produced through automated, conversational guidance. This automated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, and should not be relied upon as fact or as professional advice. You are responsible for how you use it. See "Not professional advice" above.

13. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update, migrate, or improve the service over time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect you.

14. Termination

You may stop using the program and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the program or other participants. On termination, your right to use the program ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

15. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law — including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or produce any particular outcome.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. You agree that the courts of Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. We will update the effective date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
